I’m also a television meteorologist, turned stay-at-home mom, turned Daily Doctor Mom. That last turn happened in March of 2010, when my son, Matthew, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
At the time, I decided to start a support group for other moms who have children with diabetes. I quickly realized that a “diabetes group” would leave out my neighbor (who has a son with Autism) and another friend (who has a son with Crohn’s Disease). No mom should be left out.
And so, Daily Doctor Mom was born. My goal is to post 3 times a week. But never forget–I’m also a Doctor Mom and that job comes first. : )
Thanks for visiting my website. I hope to inspire you. Excite you! I want you to take on the role of Doctor Mom with a smile on your face and joy in your heart. Lift up your chin, roll your shoulders back and rest in the confidence that God handpicked you for this job. He knows you can do it!
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. (Psalm 32:8 NIV)
